Good afternoon my people my people…
Today, I would be discussing the fourth commandment of Scarlet, which is ‘Mind your business’, let me tell you a short story.
Years ago, a boy was in a taxi eating chocolates. After the first bar finished, he took another one, and another one and another one. Then a man next to him said, “Son, do you know that will damage your teeth?” The boy replied, “My grandfather lived 112 years.” The man asked “Was it because of eating chocolates?” The boy replied ” No, its was because he was always minding his own business.”
Sometimes, silence in other people’s affairs can be the biggest help you can render to them!, there is time for everything, there is time for you to give advice and there is time for you to shut up and mind your own business. You need to know when to do things and how to do them. Doing the right thing at the wrong time makes it wrong! Doing the right thing at the wrong place make it wrong.
Two things indicate weakness; one is to be silent when it is the proper time to speak. Second is to speak when it is the proper time to be silent. When its time to keep quiet and mind your business, please do, and stop acting ‘i care about you alot’ then, its annoying.
The grace of sensitivity in your inner man to know what to do and when to do it must be your daily cry- dr. Kwakpovwe.
Even my bible tells me in 1 Thessalonians 4:11 ” make it your aim to live a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to earn your own living…”
Why is it so hard to mind one’s business??…can you guys help me out here?, because I don’t know why. People just meddle in other affairs without being invited. Why can’t you just pray for them or let them handle things their way, DON’T gossip or judge them.
Minding one’s business is crucial in every ascept of life, In Robert Kiyosaki book- rich dad poor dad, he wrote a chapter titled ‘mind your own business’, for you to know, that business wise, you just jave to still mind your own business.
P.s This post can from a place of anger, I just wanted/needed to rant.
